Apparently a new late night war is brewing. George "El Mas Chingon" Lopez is starting to battle Conan already. If you're not aware of what's going on, well, pay more attention! Conan was let go from NBC for lack of ratings, so he signed on to do a show on TBS. However, George Lopez is already running things over at TBS in the late night department...well not anymore! It's going to be Lopez that has to lead in for Conan and if Lopez is canned, Conan will get a longer more premiered spotlight.
Word on the street is that Lopez doesn't even like the gabacho coming in and is in the same boat Conan was in before he left NBC...meaning George Lopez can't publicly say he doesn't like Conan.

Lopez’s “the lady doth protest too much” moment of overexcited glee at O’Brien’s arrival on TBS was all an act, sources tell the New York Post. Unsurprisingly, Lopez didn’t actually want his show to be pushed back an hour for Conan’s sake—but “he was told that if he wasn't supportive, his show would not be renewed,” says a source.
