As the Jessop FLDS trial gets set to make headlines, I spotted a sweet and great Article from Mark Driscoll of Mars Hill Church in Seattle. I used to go to his church, before I moved to Moscow, Idaho and you know what? He makes another great point this morning on a subject that many different people don't address or care about.
He makes the point that not everything in the bible is approved by God. For instance, Polygamy. Many polygamists talk about how the biblical fathers were polygamists...well...they were. But because they were, God had some major trials for them to deal with and things were not easily solved.
Seriously.
