Remember Picasso's blue period? Me neither. This cover is cell shaded into a nice blue contrast. However, there are some pink and white's that give light to the overall message of Scalped #4. Jason Aaron and R.M. Guera outdo themselves yet again with this noir looking cover of illustration for the fourth installment of their saga that has been touted as "The Sopranos on an Indian reservation". While the interior is quite controversial to some, you can't help but admire the drawing on this. Sure it doesn't look like much, but it's all int he details. For instance, do you notice the wall and crack texture? Look closer...get lost in Scalped #4...Vertigo is working magic.
Scalped is now available via tradepaperback on amazon.com or you can pick up scalped comics on ebay.
