Mike V Riots Mexico

Mike V isn't exactly the biggest celebrity in skateboarding culture here in the U.S but Mike V's official Myspace shows us a different side of Mike V's life. He travels to Mexico City and survives near riots as he skates and is given the full celebrity treatment. If Bam or Tony Hawk are the measuring stick here in the U.S for skateboarding celebrities, Mike V should get some sort of applause for his appeal to Mexican skateboarding enthusiasts. 2. Andrew Reynolds Emerica Lights Skate Shoes - The Emerica Andrew Reynolds Emerica Lights shoe is getting major media attention in the skate mags, and apparently people are constantly looking for it on this site. Well...it's number in in popularity.

3. DGK x LRG Collaboration Skate Decks - For whatever reasons, LRG and DGK has a collaboration that has people searching left and right for. We featured it a while ago, and people are still checking out what little info we got. Number 3 post in terms of popularity.

4. Adidas Sieben Super Skate Low - The Sieben edition Adidas skate shoe is getting a lot of attention and I actually saw it in stores over the weekend. People are constantly searching for Adidas skateboarding shoes, and I'm doing my best to cover whatever I can about them, but it's not that easy. I get caught up with work, and other crap. The Sieben post is getting a lot of attention that's for sure.

5. Muska Brooklyn Projects Skytop - Muska's shoe is just insane. I hate the style, I hate the collaborations, but people continually search for the Muska Brooklyn Projects Skytop, and I'm glad that I can provide a few links of information here and then.

6. Supra Vaider Preview - This was an old post, but somehow people are constantly looking for yet more Supra shoes. This one isn't even a Skytop edition, but man, the press on the Supra Vaider was incredible. I work at a retail action sports shop and we sold quite a few of the Supra Vaider red and black shoes.

Apparently it's not enough for skateboarding to get mocked via Snakeboards or any other lame contraption, they now have a new enemy...or Friend.

Freebord is what it's called and it's tuned to skateboard in the streets. Did I say skateboard? I mean snowboard. The way these things are made, you would think it's made for longboard enthusiasts, but it's not, it's a snowboard styled skateboard. I don't know how else to explain it but the freebord website has more info, or you can check out this video below...it explains it way better. I'm not quite sold on the idea just yet.
