
I admit, I'm a sucker for a good cover. I know you're not suppose to judge, but I do anyways. What I Loved: A Novel by Siri Hustvedt, has quite the cover art. It featuers a woman in a dress dress looking away, but moreover it is a painting of a womn. That's right, an interesting play on the old red dress woman and art form at the same exact time. Clever huh? The book is about a historian that discovers a painting by an unknown artist and buys it, tracks down the artist and then the two travel along life together as friends. The story akes 25 years (in the book not necessarily that length of time to read) and featuers all sorts of dramatic situations, conversations and overall good storytelling. If you're a good fan of fiction, this is a dramatic recommendation that you'll enjoy.

The premise alone should have you interested in this book, as Hustvedt presents such a clear delineated path for his characters that you will most undoubtedly be sucked in immediately. What I Loved by Siri Hustvedt is a great piece to recommend to you.
