
Batman: The Long Halloween #9 comes out and it's Father's day in Gotham. The storyline continues with Catwomen, and some foreshadowing about Harvey Dent. Batman is seen on the cover with some flowers, ready to leave them on the grave of his Father, and unlike the Mother's Day cover, Batman is in full costume and not a young boy. This of course ties into the Bruce Wayne "patriarchal" psychology that feeds his vigilante behavior. I might be reading too much into the cover, but just like that famous Daredevil #182 Cover, the grave stone is in full view, and the emotion is so cold.
